BIOMASS

Biomass is produced from organic materials, either directly from plants or indirectly from industrial, domestic or agricultural products. It is also called ‘bio energy or bio fuels’.

Ecolution supply, design and install Biomass boilers with a range of outputs from 15kW to 1MW (1000kW) using either wood chip or wood pellet bio fuels.

Important design considerations are:

  • Availability of supply of bio fuel
  • Storage space for the bio fuel
  • Boiler flue and emissions
  • Smokeless zones and the Clean Air Act

Correctly managed and sourced, biomass is a sustainable fuel that can offer a significant reduction in net carbon emissions compared with fossil fuels.

Photovoltaic Systems (PV)

Photovoltaic systems convert the sun’s light directly into electricity providing efficiencies in the region of 15%.
